Corralejo
Restaurant and Bar Guide
A Bar and Restaurant Guide
for visitors to Corralejo is not always easy to compile,
why? Well it is always somebody's point of view!
|
|
We have tried to put an
unbiased review across to you potential visitors to Corralejo
Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands.
Why have we done
this? Well firstly it should be pointed out that we have no
financial or ownership connection to any of the bars and
restaurants noted on this page, we have simply visited or visit
these establishments and like them.
We are not saying
that they are the best, we are not saying you should visit them,
we are purely giving you an insight in what to expect or find on
your Holiday in Fuerteventura.
When you first
arrive in any resort it is always nice to have an idea of what
to expect when you have not booked an all inclusive package. We
believe that the eateries in Corralejo are just fantastic and
along with the service and prices it is definitely worth booking
a self catering holiday in
Fuerteventura.
The bars and
restaurants noted below are not in any order of what is best and
should be chosen randomly, as unless you are coming for 6 months
it would be impossible to visit the abundant Bars and
restaurants on offer in Fuerteventura. Eventually I will place a
map on this page showing the whereabouts of each place but until
then please note the names down and pick up one of the free maps
when you arrive to find them.

twist to the dishes served). A Restaurant that includes the
finest Fillet steak on the island and Spare Ribs that are
far superior to those served at other "chain" type
establishments.... Highly Recommended.... this Restaurant is
disabled friendly and has a toilet on the level For

The Point (Hoplaco Gardens)
"The Point" is a
restaurant come chill out / Wine bar located on the waterfront. You
will find that the views to the beach and the Island of Lobos

that little bit different is well worth a visit.
They are open for Breakfast and
snacks during the day. The Evening menu is only small with a
selection of 3 or 4 starters, 3 or 4 main courses and 3 or 4
desserts each evening but all meals are freshly cooked and the

Corralejo, Fuerteventura is at the Harbour end of town.
Nestled behind the Dunas Club Apartments.
Offering that little bit
different the owner and his staff will give a real

The Bar has a real relaxed
feeling but the entertainment can be something "wow" to.
Food is served in the Cafe

This is a Spanish Restaurant on the high
street of Corralejo Fuerteventura just by the Taxi Rank. Normally only open of an Evening

nights a week). Recently re-decorated to a high standard.
The food is served fresh and of a
very good quality. One of the largest menu's to be found that
include Spanish Paella, Pizzas' (direct from the Pizza Oven), Steaks
that a cooked on the large (wooden Chip) BBQ in the kitchen, Vegetarian options,
Fresh Fish and Children's portions.

As can be seen on the right this is a T-Bone Steak that just

a large appetite!!
Overall a very friendly restaurant in pleasant surroundings and

Blue Rock
A little chill out bar at the
end of the cobbled street in the old town of Corralejo.
Jules, Claire and staff will
give you a special welcome and pass on valuable information
about the local area and Fuerteventura.
The Blue Rock is the perfect
place for an after dinner drink. |

Hello Beach House Bar
The Hello Beach House Bar is situated
just off the main Street in Corralejo, in fact I am sure you
will see the large clothing shop called Mango on the main
street? If you do. it is directly one street behind this shop.
For frequent visitors to Corralejo it is the old Hello
Bar that was run by Sabi who now travels around various
bars in Corralejo doing her Fun Quiz.
It is ideal for a drink and with
friendly owners you are always made welcome.
It normally has special offers for
drinks and is one of the cheapest places in town for an
alcoholic drink. On the
odd occasion you may find some small entertainment but on the
whole this is the perfect place to wash down a good meal to plan
your next day activities. |

Characters of Corralejo!
An ideal bar for a chill
our drink that will offer "in house" entertainment ranging
from an ad-hoc quiz (free to enter) to some 60's 70's 80's
or even 90's music sang by the host Julian.

El Sombrero
Located near the harbour on
the front this restaurant is easily spotted by the amount of
cows that are dotted around the establishment! Not the real
mooing type but the cuddly fluffy ones or china ones! Even
the waitresses wear an apron's that are black and white like
a Cows coat!
The El Sombrero is great
for that special meal and have a a few specialities that
include Fondues, The El Sombrero (which is a Mexican hat
that is heated and you cook your own meat to your own
liking!) and the El Capitan once again this is a speciality
